For over half acentury, we at Eternarica Foundation have created and nurtured serene, beautiful park cemeteries—places where people can quietly commune with the deceased and offer theirprayers.
To serveas unique sanctuaries for prayer, we completed the administration/visitors buildingand chapel at Sayama Lakeside Cemetery (formally "eternalica sayama kohan") in 2013—designed by the renowned Japanesearchitect Hiroshi Nakamura (a project that won numerous domestic andinternational architectural awards, including the top honor at the 2016 ARCASIAAwards for Architecture).
Subsequently,in 2017, we completed the visitors center building and chapel at Inagawa Cemetery (formally "eternalica inagawa"),designed by the world-renowned architect David Chipperfield (who was awardedthe Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2023).
Today, people from 50 countries around the world visit these sites to experience these exceptional architectures.
